Deposit Program For New Season Tickets
Underway For 2008 Football Campaign
The University of Hawai`i Athletics Department is accepting $50 non-refundable deposits for new season tickets for the 2008 football season.
As a benefit to UH fans, football season-ticket holders will receive a 50 percent discount on a special road pay-per-view package. For the 2008 season, fans must purchase their football season tickets by July 18 to qualify for the discount, which will be worth more than $75 if three games are on the road pay-per-view package.
Season ticket prices and premium seat contributions will remain the same as last year and the department has set a goal of selling 30,000 season tickets for the 2008 season.
The $50 deposit (per order, not per ticket) will be applied to fans’ new season-ticket purchases. Deposits can be paid online or at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office.
Following the renewal period, fans that place a deposit for new season tickets will be called back in the order in which their deposit was received to select their seats and finalize payment. Call backs will begin in May.
This is the second year for the deposit program. Last year, 778 fans placed $50 deposits, which accounted for 2,143 new season tickets. In 2007, UH sold 22,975 season tickets, which was an increase of 4,760 from the 18,215 sold for the 2006 campaign.
