California Hotel & Casino and Vacations Hawaii, the game sponsor for Saturday's Weber State football game, is providing the following prizes for UH fans:
- Pre-Game Field Goal Kick: Winner will receive a gift bag with an assortment of prizes.
- Halftime Contest: Winner will receive a Trip for Two to Las Vegas, including airline transportation, meals, and four nights at the California Hotel.

New Team Introduction Set
For Home Opener Saturday
The introduction of the UH football team prior to Saturday's home opener will have a completely new look with a very familiar song. The Warriors will take the field while the band plays the fan-favorite “Hawaii 5-0” theme song. The festivities leading up to the team charging out of the locker room have also been revised, with the fans, band, cheerleaders, Rainbow Dancers, and Vili the Warrior all playing key roles. Fans in the first row of the stadium seating will be given ti leaves and asked to “paddle” as soon as the band begins playing “Hawaii 5-0.” Also, widely anticipated is the inaugural appearance of the team in its new Under Armour home football uniforms.
New “Family Pack” Promotion Offers
Great Savings On Tickets To UH Sports
A new “Family Pack” promotion is available for all UH home games. With the purchase of two adult tickets, fans will receive one student (ages 4-high school) ticket free for every student ticket purchased (maximum of 12 tickets total). “Family Pack” tickets are available in the North Endzone of Aloha Stadium and can be purchased at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office in advance and the Aloha Stadium Box Office in advance or on game day. New “Warrior Activity Tent” Provides
Fans Fun-Filled Pre-Game Festivities
The new “Warrior Activity Tent” in front of the Aloha Stadium ticket office (between Gates 2 & 3) features a wide variety of pre-game activities from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. for UH fans. Prior to Saturday's Weber State game, there will be clowns making balloon animals and other objects. In addition, keiki can get the UH logo painted on their face. From 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., members of the UH women's volleyball team will be at the tent to sign autographs, pose for photos, and distribute posters and schedule cards. All activities are free.
“Family Fun Zone” In North Concourse
Prior To All UH Football Home Games
Hey parents, be sure to bring your keiki to the FREE “Family Fun Zone” prior to Saturday's football game. The “Family Fun Zone” will be open from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and is located in the stadium's north concourse (near Gate 7). It features thrilling rides, exciting contests, and full-filled inflatables from Xtreme Fun Rentals. All activities are free. In addition, UH posters and schedule cards will be distributed. Sections V and VV in the north end zone have once again been designated as the “Family Zone” and no alcohol will be permitted in the sections.
Free Tickets For UH System Students
To Football Home Opener Saturday
UH system students will receive a free ticket to the “Student Night” football game against Weber State this Saturday. Students can pick up their ticket at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office in advance (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.) by showing their valid UH identification card. They also need to present their UH ID at the stadium entrance on game night (Gate 7). One thousand "Thunderstix" will be distributed in the student sections at each home football game. Also, students wearing their Manoa Maniacs T-shirt will receive free admission to the "Aloha Zone" tailgate area, which is located in the grass area near the upper halawa parking lot (near pole 29).
Free Bus Transportation For Students
Provided By Manoa Chancellor's Office
The UH Manoa Chancellor's Office is again providing FREE bus transportation for UH students from campus to Aloha Stadium for UH football homes games. The buses will leave the intersection near Gateway House (Dole Street and East-West Road) at 4:00 p.m. and depart Aloha Stadium 30 minutes after the game. Six (6) buses will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Students are encouraged to sign up in advance at the campus residence halls.
Military Receive 50% Off Football Tickets
For Weber State, Idaho, & Cincinnati Games
Active, reservists, and retired members of the military will receive
50% off UH football tickets (maximum of eight) for the games against Weber State (Sept. 6), Idaho (Nov. 22), and Cincinnati (Dec. 6). A valid military identification card is required when purchasing tickets at the Aloha Stadium Box Office in advance or on game day and the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office in advance only. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply.
Bus Transportation Provided To & From
Stadium By Local Transportation Companies
Local transportation companies are combining their efforts to offer round-trip "air-conditioned" motor coach service to Aloha Stadium for UH Warrior football home games. A hassle-free, gasoline-free and traffic-free alternative to all UH games. Reservations are required. Unfilled seats will be on a first come, first serve basis. Pick-up locations are from the listed Oahu areas for all UH home football games this season. “Aloha Zone” Tailgate Party

Centerplate will once again host the “Aloha Zone” in the grass area near the upper halawa parking lot (near pole 29). The tailgate will feature live football games from around the country broadcast on flat screen televisions, live entertainment and food vendors. Fans will be able to eat, drink and relax in the shade under a large carnival-sized tent. Various types of food and beverages will be available for purchase at a reasonable price inside the tailgate. Admission is $5, but FREE for fans utilizing the alternate parking sites (Radford High School, Kam Drive-In, and Leeward Community College). Shuttle service from the alternate parking sites (except Radford High School) will drop fans off at the entrance of the “Aloha Zone” for FREE entrance. UH students wearing their Manoa Maniacs T-shirt get in free.
