Men's Basketball Individual Ticket Prices

HONOLULU - Individual tickets for the 2009-10 University of Hawai`i men's and women's basketball campaigns are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, by calling 944-2697, or online.

 

The box office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed on holidays). Phone sales hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed on holidays).

 

In addition, UH Manoa Maniacs and Super Rooter tickets also go on sale Oct. 19.

 

The men's basketball team will play 21 regular-season home games, highlighted by the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic, non-conference games versus BYU and New Mexico and the  inaugural Diamond Head Classic. Three game's on the men's schedule will be $10 general admission ($10) – the opening two exhibition games versus UH-Hilo (Oct. 30) and BYU-Hawai'i (Nov. 5); and UH's Outrigger Hotel Rainbow Classic finale versus Northern Colorado, which will be broadcast nationally and tips off at 11:00 p.m.

 

Tickets for the inaugural Diamond Head Classic. Dec. 22, 23 and 25 are also available. The 12-game tournament, will have both general and reserved seating throughout six sessions, with prices ranging between $10-$26. Tournament packages are also available with lower level seats at $70 and upper level seats at $90.

 

Meanwhile, women's basketball individual tickets prices again remain the same as last season. All tickets will be general admission for The Rainbow Wahine host two preseason tournaments, including the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic.

The men's basketball squad, led by second-year head coach Bob Nash, returns 10 letterwinners from last year's squad, including all-WAC forward Roderick Flemings. Nash and the Rainbow Warriors play a pair of exhibition games versus UH Hilo and BYU-Hawai'i, before playing its regular-season opener against Southern Utah on Nov. 13 in the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic.

 

The women's basketball team is excited to start the 2009-10 season under the leadership of head coach Dana Takahara-Dias. Takahara-Dias begins her first season at UH and has the luxury of one of the top returning guards in the conference back in junior Keisha Kanekoa. The Rainbow Wahine open the season against Hawaii Pacific in an exhibition game Nov. 4 and hold their home opener against Arizona State on Nov. 27.
