DENVER – University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine senior
Britta Bourne earned her second Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of Week of the season Monday.
Bourne became just the fifth player in school history to record three goals in a game, posting a hat trick at Idaho (Nov. 1). The senior scored all three of the UH's goals in the season finale victory over the Vandals. The Rainbow Wahine were down 2-0 at the half, before Bourne scored all three goals in the 3-2, comeback, win.
The Honolulu, O'ahu, native finished the season with 10 goals and 23 points, both good for the team-lead.
The Rainbow Wahine concluded their season with the two road matches, falling at Boise State before beating Idaho. UH finished seventh in the WAC standings, one place out of qualifying for the WAC Tournament, which will be held in Boise, Idaho, this week.
