MISSION BAY, Calif. – The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine sailing team concluded its fall campaign with a fourth-place finish at PCCSC Women's Fall Championship, held Nov. 21-22. UH finished with 87 points, 26 points behind regatta champion Stanford.

 

A total of 22 races, 11 in each both A and B division, were completed during the two-day regatta. The Rainbow Wahine totaled 47 points in A division, good for the sixth place, while the B division squad finished in fourth with a total of 40 points. A total of nine teams sailed during the weekend.

 

The Rainbow Wahine sailors will open the spring season when they host the PJ Wenner Rainbow Invite, Jan. 16-17, 2010 at Keehi Lagoon.
