Anheuser-Busch Once Again Donates $100,000 To UH Athletics Department

HONOLULU - Anheuser-Busch Sales of Hawaii has announced that it has raised $100,000 for the University of Hawai`i Athletics Department through its "Get in the Game" promotion, which concluded today (Nov. 30). This is the second year that Anheuser-Busch has provided UH Athletics with $100,000 in support through this promotion.

Anheuser-Busch Sales of Hawaii donated 25 cents from every case of Budweiser, Bud Light, Budweiser Select, and Bud Light Lime  products sold across the state of Hawai`I during the course of the promotion, which started prior to the UH football season.

"Anheuser-Busch Sales of Hawaii is excited to once again support the UH Athletic Department with a $100,000 donation due to the success of our 2009 'Get In the Game' promotion," Chad Hoffmeister, President of Anheuser-Busch Sales of Hawaii. "We want to thank all of the Warrior fans who supported the promotion by purchasing our products around the state. We are very proud of the UH Warriors and we value our partnership with the UH Athletics Department. Go Warriors!"

"We can't thank Anheuser-Busch enough for once again providing much-needed funds for UH Athletics," Jim Donovan, UH Athletics Director, said. "As A Platinum Corporate Partner, they are always there to support our various sporting events and fund raisers, while assisting in a wide array of other areas as well."

"The support of Corporate Partners like Anheuser-Busch really helps us remain competitive on a national scale," Greg McMackin, UH Head Football Coach, said. "In addition to providing invaluable support to UH football, they offer assistance to all of our men's and women's programs and we are very grateful to them for making a difference."
