ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Wahine sailing team finished 14^th at St. Mary's Women's Intersectional, held March 21-22, at the St. Mary's River.

 

A total of 18 schools participated in the two-day event. A week after the UH coed squad finished 10^th at the same venue, the Rainbow Wahine found similar troubles in tricky conditions. The Rainbow Wahine finished 105 points off the pace with a total of 211 points. The College of Charleston won the regatta with 96 points, edging out Harvard (103) and Yale (104).

 

Hannah Tuson-Turner and Tahnee Allman finished 14^th in the A division with 113 points, while Becky Mabardy, Danielle Hull and Jessi Locke placed 12^th in the B division with 98 points.

 

Next up for the Rainbow Wahine is the St. Francis Invitational in San Francisco, April 4-5.
