Nate Klein picked up Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of May 4-10.
Klein, a junior from Goleta, Calif. (Santa Barbara City), threw 8.0 innings in a win at Fresno State. Klein compiled six strikeouts for his second win of the season. He now has a 5.02 ERA with 41 strikeouts in 52 innings of work this season.
The Rainbows host Utah Valley this week to close out the regular season. The series runs from May 14-17 at Les Murakami Stadium. The May 14 and 15 games are set to start at 6:35 p.m., with the May 16 game starting at 7:35 p.m. The game on Sunday, May 17, will then have a 1:05 p.m. start.
