Former UH Setter Cayley Thurlby Named To U26 US Beach National Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Former University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball player Cayley Thurlby has been named to the United States U26 Beach National Team Monday.
 
Thurlby will compete on the No. 1 team with former University of Washington standout Christal Morrison. The No. 2 team has Brooke Sweat and Tealle Hunkus.
 
The Naperville, Ill., native finished tied for 33rd in the AVP Manhattan Beach Open from July 17-19. Her top finishes on tour were a couple of seventh place finishes at the AVP Young Gun Ft. Lauderdale and New Jersey tournaments.
 
Thurlby was with the Rainbow Wahine from 2002-06, a member of two final four teams. She accumulated 421 career assists and 207 digs in 118 matches played at Hawai'i, earning academic All-WAC honors three times.
