Rainbow Wahine Golf in Eighth After Two Rounds of Giustina Memorial

Day 1 Results

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team shot rounds of 321 and 314 at the Giustina Memorial Classic, Monday, at the Trysting Tree Golf Club. The Rainbow Wahine are currently in eighth place with a 635 total.
 
Freshman Ka'ili Britos leads UH in her debut collegiate appearance. She shot 13-over par (83-74=157) and is currently tied for 18th place. Following closely behind Britos is senior Corie Hou, tying for 26th with a two-round 159 (81-78).
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are sophomore Erika Lundberg (79-81=160/T29th), freshman Brigitte Baker (82-81=163/T36th), and senior Erin Matsuoka (79-86=165/T44th).
 
Oregon leads the 10-team field at 22-over par (296-302=598), with its own Kendra Little leading individually at two-under par (73-69=142). Little will have a five-stroke lead going into the final day.
 
The tournament concludes tomorrow, Tuesday, with the third and final round.
