HONOLULU – University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine volleyball individual match tickets are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased
online, at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or call 944-2697 during those same hours.
Ticket prices are as follows:
Lower Level - $17
Upper Adult - $12
Upper Senior Citizen - $10
Upper Student (ages 4-high school) - $5
The Rainbow Wahine open the season with the Chevron Rainbow Wahine Invitational from Aug. 27-29, which includes San Diego, Kansas State and UCLA.
The non-conference home schedule also includes other traditional powers like New Mexico, Michigan State, Southern California, UC Irvine, St. Mary’s and Brigham Young.
Hawai‘i returns four starters from a 2009 team that went 32-3, advancing to the NCAA semifinal match. Junior
Kanani Danielson heads the group after earning her second AVCA All-American honor. UH’s three other returning starters, seniors
Dani Mafua and
Elizabeth Ka‘aihue, and sophomore
Brittany Hewitt, are also coming off all-WAC seasons in 2009.
