Megan Lytle was a standout in the classroom and on the field for the Rainbow Wahine soccer team as a four-year starter from 1997-2000. Megan's 3-year-old daughter Malia was recently diagnosed with an aggressive childhood cancer known as stage IV neuroblastoma and the entire family needs your help.
Megan and her husband Glen, left Orlando, Fla., in order to provide their daughter with the best treatment currently available to her at the Children's Hospital/Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund Clinic in Boston, Mass. In her battle against the disease, Malia now has to endure six rounds of chemotherapy, two stem cell transplants, radiation, surgery, and countless blood transfusions. With many procedures not covered by health insurance, this experience can devastate a family financially with costs reaching up to $1 million.
