UH Fall Sports Receive 14 Big West All-Academic Honors

Big West All-Academic Release

IRVINE, Calif. – The 2012 Big West Conference Fall All-Academic team was announced on Wednesday with one UH women's cross country, six women's soccer, and seven women's volleyball student-athletes named to the team.
 
A total of 14 UH student-athletes were represented on the 133-person team which includes the sports of men's soccer and men's cross country of which Hawai'i does not participate in. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, complete one full academic year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received (at least a sophomore academically), and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
 
Among the UH selections were All-American Emily Hartong (women's volleyball) and all-conference performer Krystal Pascua (women's soccer).
