HONOLULU—University of Hawai'i women's basketball head coach
Laura Beeman announced the signing of Maui-native Keleah-Aiko Koloi on Tuesday.
Koloi is a 6-0 forward out of a very successful Lahainaluna High School program that went 24-3 during the 2015-16 season under the leadership of head coach Todd Rickard. Koloi averaged 16.5 points and nine rebounds per game and earned all-league first team honors as a junior and a senior.
"We are excited to announce the addition of Keleah to our program," says Beeman. "She will bring a hard-nosed attitude to our post play this year. Her ability to run the floor and go get rebounds will fit nicely into our style of play. Keleah's desire to stay home and play for the University of Hawai'i is exciting to see and we are thrilled she has decided to stay home and represent her state in a Rainbow Wahine uniform."
