Prior to UH: Played two years at the University of Arkansas…averaged 1.52 kills and 1.22 blocks per game in 2007…earned all-tournament honors at the Jefferson Cup, hitting .326 with 22 kills and 12 blocks…had a season-high 18 kills and six blocks vs. Auburn (Oct. 7)…played in 16 matches in 2006, posting 22 kills and 23 blocks.
Prep: A 2006 graduate of Conway High School in Conway, Ark…lettered four years in volleyball…named the No. 26 top senior on the prepvolleyball.com Senior Aces list…earned a spot on the USA Women’s Junior National A2 Team in 2005…two-time all-state and all-conference honoree…also lettered in basketball.
Personal: Born Catherine Fowler in Forrest City, Ark…plans to major in international business…has two brothers…parents are Rhonda and Steve Fowler of Conway, Ark.
