Post Game Quotes
Hawai‘i vs. Louisiana-Monroe (Nov. 28, 2015)

UH Interim Head Coach Chris Naole
On closing the season with a win..
I think it’s a good thing. These guys know the direction they’re going with Coach Rolo coming in. I wish him nothing but the best, we got a win for these guys going into next year. They don’t have football until Australia next year and it’s a good foot forward finishing on a strong note going into the new season.

On halftime adjustments..
I didn’t really tell the guys much at halftime. We just have to finish. We got guys dinged up, guys were hurt, guys were falling down left and right. We just kept plugging guys in, Paul (Harris) went down and Ryan (Tuiasoa) came in. We just had to be strong and finish to the end.

ULM Interim Head Coach John Mumford
On team’s effort..
On our end of it, guys played with great passion and effort. We can’t dig a hole like we did early. We have no room for error. There’s no quit in them. They’ll fight. But don’t confuse effort with results. Results come through the details of execution, not getting silly penalties, and every man doing his job.”

On the late fourth quarter touchdown..
(We) finally caught a break with the fumble in the end zone and I thought here we go. But it’s just too little too late. You never know when the plays early in the game are going to come up and count in a close game like this.

On coming back from an 18-point deficit:
Our offense got us going and that energized the sideline a good bit. Defensively we got a few stops (but) we didn’t get them when we had to have them.
