Prep: A 2008 graduate of Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, Calif…lettered four years in volleyball…earned league Most Valuable Player honors in 2007…was first team all-CIF in 2007, earning second-team honors in 2004 and ’05…also earned all-region honors in 2007…named the school’s Sports Person of the Year and won the Distinguished Athlete award…team won the conference championship in 2006 and ’07…played six years for Southern California Volleyball Club, earning the bronze medal at the 2008 Junior Olympics.
Personal: Born Sarah Elizabeth Prather in Los Angeles, Calif…plans to major in nursing…has one sister…parents are Jennifer and Elliott Prather of Playa Del Rey, Calif.
